Want To Be A Virgin Again? How To Restore Your Virginity For Your Upcoming Wedding Night

With the advancements in medical technology, it seems like almost anything is possible through cosmetic surgery. People can change their entire appearance and even their gender. What you might not know is that women can now restore their virginity. If you are interested in becoming a virgin again, here is everything you need to know.

Why Restore Your Virginity?

There are many reasons why a woman might want to restore her virginity. If waiting until marriage to have sex is important to you and you are on a second marriage or a mistake was made in the past, you don't have to settle for not losing your virginity to your husband. If you recently became religious, you might want to restore your virginity for your new husband. No matter the reason, it can be done.

What is a Hymen?

There are a lot of misconceptions about the hymen. Most young girls are told that it's a thin layer of skin inside of the vagina that covers the entire opening. However, it is actually a donut shaped membrane. The hole in the center becomes wider as girls age, allowing them to menstruate. Experts don't believe that blood or pain during the first intercourse is actually caused by the hymen rupturing. Most theories are that it's usually caused by anxiety and inexperience.

How Does Hymen Repair Work?

Hymen repair (hymenoplasty) is the surgery that is performed to "restore virginity". Although the hymen tears, it never completely disappears. Most women have pieces of their hymen left inside of their vagina. Therefore, your hymen is actually reconstructed. The pieces of it that are left are stitched together so they can essentially heal back to its original form. Most women have their vaginal walls tightened during this process to make it more like an authentic, virgin vagina.

How Long is the Recovery Time?

If you decide to get a hymenoplasty done, you can expect to take it easy for a few weeks. Engaging in strenuous activity or exercise can tear your delicate, newly repaired hymen and undo the surgery. The full recovery time is about four to six weeks. Soreness after surgery could last a few weeks, so you should refrain from sexual activity unless the soreness subsides. This time is different for every woman. It could be as little as three weeks and as long as three months. If you are doing the surgery for an upcoming wedding night, it's recommended that you have the surgery done as early as possible to ensure a full recovery.
